Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data we process when you visit our website or contact us, why we process it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2). In case of differences, the Slovenian version prevails.
Data controller
The controller of your personal data is VisitVibe, oglaševanje in spletne rešitve, d.o.o. (VisitVibe d.o.o.), Videm 4B, 1262 Dol pri Ljubljani, Slovenia, company registration number 8686416000, VAT ID SI88885186.
For any questions about data protection and to exercise your rights, email us at info@visitvibe.com or write to the address above.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the processing of personal data through the website visitvibe.com and during your first contact with us (the form on the website, a phone call or an email) when you are interested in our services.
What data we process and why
The "Call me" form
When you fill in the form, we process the details you enter: first name, last name, phone number, email address (optional) and the package you choose (optional). The form also saves the location, size and estimate from the calculator and, if you came from an ad or campaign link, its source (e.g. google / cpc, the campaign name, an ad click identifier).
- Purpose: to call you about an offer for managing your rental.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- The phone number is required because we can't call you without it. All other fields are optional.
Phone calls and emails
If you call or email us, we process the details you give us: for example your name, phone number, email address and the content of your message (such as the location and size of your rental).
- Purpose: to answer your question and prepare an offer.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); where your message isn't about our services, our legitimate interest in replying to messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The "Email us" button below the calculator opens your own email program with a prepared message. Nothing is sent to us until you send the email yourself.
Earnings calculator
The calculator runs in your browser. The location, size and estimate you choose are stored only if you send the form (see above). If you consented to analytics or advertising, your choice of location and size (no personal data) is also reported to the tools described below.
Visiting the website
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver and secure it: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and information about your browser and device.
- Purpose: operating, delivering and securing the website (e.g. against attacks).
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising tools. See Cookies for details.
Analytics and advertising (only with consent)
If you consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (visit statistics) and the Meta Pixel and, once switched on, Google Ads (ad measurement). These tools record your visit and actions on the site, such as using the calculator, clicking the phone number or email, and sending the form. We never send them names, phone numbers or email addresses.
- Purpose: measuring visits and ad performance, showing ads to the right people.
- Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 225 ZEKom-2). You can withdraw it at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer; withdrawal doesn't affect processing before it.
- Details on the cookies and how long they last are on the Cookies page.
Who can access the data
Data may be processed by external providers who perform services for us, as processors acting on our instructions:
- hosting of the website and its content management system (including form data): Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany (server in the EU);
- email and telephony: the providers we use to communicate with you;
- analytics and advertising (only with consent): Google Ireland Limited, Ireland (Google Analytics, Google Ads), and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Ireland (Meta Pixel).
Where the law requires it, we pass data on to the competent authorities.
Transfers outside the EU
The website and the data from the form are stored on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, inside the EU. See Hetzner's privacy policy.
We receive notifications of new enquiries by email, including through Google's Gmail service. If you consent to analytics or advertising, Google and Meta may also process visit data in the USA. Google may process data in the USA, relying on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- We keep data from the form, calls or emails for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and prepare an offer.
- If we don't enter into a contract, we delete the data once we no longer need it for that purpose.
- If we do enter into a contract, we keep the data in line with the contract and the retention periods set by law (e.g. accounting and tax rules).
- Technical visit data is kept by the hosting provider under its own rules.
- Visit data in Google Analytics is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data (Article 15),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16),
- have your data erased (Article 17),
- restrict processing (Article 18),
- data portability (Article 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21).
Send your request to info@visitvibe.com or by post to our address. We reply without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receiving the request, as required by Article 12 GDPR. To protect your data, we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.
We don't use automated decision-making or profiling.
Complaints to the supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your personal data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia:
Informacijski pooblaščenec RS, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia email: gp.ip@ip-rs.si, website: www.ip-rs.si
