Cookies and local storage
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or entries that a website stores in your browser. Under Article 225 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), they may be used without consent only if they are strictly necessary for a service you explicitly request. Everything else needs your prior consent. In case of differences, the Slovenian version prevails.
Does this website use cookies?
Yes, but non-essential cookies (to measure visits and ads) only once you consent. On your first visit a banner at the bottom of the page asks you: choose Accept all, Reject, or set analytics and advertising separately under Settings. Until you decide, no analytics or advertising tool loads and no such cookie is set.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Strictly necessary entries (no consent needed)
These entries are needed for features you explicitly ask for, so they don't require consent (Article 225 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act, ZEKom-2). They contain no personal data about you.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| vv_consent | local storage | remembers your cookie choice (analytics yes/no, advertising yes/no, time of choice) | until you change it or clear your browser data |
| vv-lang-hint-closed | local storage | so a closed notice about the other language version doesn't show again | until you delete it in your browser settings |
| vv_utm | session storage | if you came from an ad or campaign link, remembers its source (e.g. google / cpc) so we can save it with your enquiry when you send the form | until you close the tab |
Analytics (only with consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to see how many visitors come to the site, from where, and which parts they use (e.g. the calculator, a click on the phone number, a sent form). We never send names, phone numbers or email addresses to it. Google shortens the IP address before storing it.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | distinguishes visitors (random identifier) | 2 years | |
| ga | keeps the state of a visit | 2 years |
Event data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months.
Advertising (only with consent)
We use the Meta Pixel (provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland) and, once switched on, Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) to measure whether our ads bring enquiries and to show them to the right people.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta | links a visit to ads on Facebook and Instagram | 3 months |
| _gcl_au | links a visit to Google Ads | 3 months |
Google and Meta may also process data in the USA. They rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.
Video from YouTube
The About us page has a video hosted by YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). It loads only when you click the play button, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Until then, viewing the page makes no connection to YouTube.
When you start the video, YouTube receives your IP address and may store its own cookies or entries in your browser. Google's privacy policy applies. If you don't want this, don't start the video.
Links to other networks
The links to our Google profile, Instagram and YouTube are plain links. Only when you open them do you enter the provider's site, where its own privacy and cookie rules apply.
How to withdraw consent or delete data
- Click Cookie settings in the footer and switch analytics or advertising off. The page then reloads without those tools.
- You can also delete cookies and local storage entries at any time in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Site data").
Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. More about how we handle personal data in our privacy policy. In case of differences, the Slovenian version prevails.
